Dr. Dharmesh Barot

Practice Owner and Principal Dentist With a Special Interest in Invisalign and Dental Implants

Dr Barot graduated from Kings College London with a BDS Honours, being awarded multiple School Prizes, Distinctions, Merits and Scholarships along the way. His education culminated in being awarded the University of London’s Gold Medal Award; awarded to the best academic and clinical Dentist in the whole of London that year. Since then he has also carried out a certificate in Implant Dentistry and is keen to start his Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

His enthusiasm for all aspects of dentistry and his keen interest in furthering his education led to Dr Barot achieving membership to both the faculty of dental surgeons (MJDF) and the joint dental faculty (MJDF) of the Royal College of surgeons in England (RCS ENG). Wanting to share his passion with dentistry Dr Barot became a foundation dentist trainer in 2009 and since then he has been teaching and aiding in the development of newly graduate dentists. The desire to develop others led to him to undertake various coaching and mentoring courses as well as getting a Distinction in his Postgraduate Certificate in Medical and Dental Education.

Dr. Rajit Singh Panesar

Practice Owner and Principal Dentist

Dr Panesar trained at the prestigious Guys Hospital and qualified from Kings College London with multiple distinctions. Keen to further his development he then went on to achieve Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty (MJDF) of the Royal College of Surgeons in England (RCS Eng).

Dr Panesar worked in both Private and Mixed NHS general practices in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Central London, as well as in a number of hospitals in Central London in different Dental sectors including Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry and in Acute Dental Care. He has gained a huge wealth of experience that has allowed him to consistently provide successful predictable dentistry. With all this experience Dr Panesar was keen to help in the development of other dentists and attended a number of coaching and mentoring courses. He has also gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental and Medical Education from Oxford Brookes University and has been selected by Thames Valley Education England to teach and train other dentists for several years. Dr Panesar is a dental practice advisor for Simply Health Professionals and also a committee member for the British Dental Association Windsor section, helping to arrange continued development for dentists in the area.

Dr Panesar has a healthy passion for dentistry and has excelled in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He focuses on providing exceptional patient care in a relaxed environment and has a keen interest in maintaining teeth with root canal treatment and restoring them with tooth like restorations. Dr Panesar is also a certified Invisalign provider, helping to improve a patients aesthetics so they can smile with confidence.

In his spare time, he organises and attends charity ‘Dental camps’ in deprived regions of the world, helping those less fortunate. Dr Panesar is a keen sportsman and plays a variety of sports including tennis and football.

Dr. Omesh Modgill

Specialist Oral Surgeon

Omesh qualified in 2011 from the University of Bristol Dental Hospital. Following completion of Vocational Training, he gained further surgical experience in his roles as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Core Trainee and Oral Surgery Specialty Doctor in both the North-West and London. Subsequently he commenced and successfully completed oral surgery specialty training at Kings and Guys Hospital London and is now recognised by the General Dental Council as a Specialist Oral Surgeon.

Alongside his clinical work, Omesh has also successfully completed the qualification in the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) and Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education. He has presented regionally, nationally and internationally on a range of oral surgery related topics whilst also publishing in several peer reviewed papers.

Omesh is committed to delivering a high standard of surgical treatment and providing treatment in a painless and timely manner. He is an advocate of holistic care, taking time to understand his patients needs prior to them attending for treatment whilst also proactively conducting post-operative follow-up. He endeavours to perform treatment in a calm and relaxed environment and is always happy to discuss your treatment needs at great length in order to facilitate the highest standard of care for all patients.

Omesh welcomes your referrals for patients requiring non-surgical and surgical tooth extractions including third molar surgery. Building partnerships with referring dentists is key to his approach to ensure that the care he provides is considered an extension of your own. He very much looks forward to considering your referrals and working with you to provide the efficient, timely and comprehensive care for all of your patients.

Dr. Ashkan Sharifi

Specialist Periodontist

Ashkan graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 and has since gained extensive experience in both hospital and private practice, performing a range of surgical and restorative procedures.

This diverse background has shaped his holistic approach to patient care. Driven by a passion for implants and periodontology, he further honed his expertise through a three-year specialty program at the Royal London Dental Hospital, where he specialised in complex gum conditions and dental implant procedures, including bone grafting and soft tissue grafting. Ashkan has contributed to the field of implants and periodontology through research, award winning conference presentations, and published work with the Royal College of Surgeons.

Known for his attention to detail and approachable manner, Ashkan works as a visiting clinician across multiple practices, utilising the latest materials and technology to deliver precise, high-quality outcomes for patients.

Dr. Justin Underwood

BSc, BDS (Hons), MFDS RCS, PGDip, MClinDent, M Endo RCS, AFHEA GDC: 210724
Associate Dentist With a Special Interest in Endodontics (pending application to be on the GDC Specialist List)

Justin graduated from Cardiff University with Honours where he intercalated and presented his dental research at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) congress.

Justin holds a postgraduate diploma in endodontics in addition to completing 4-year specialist endodontic training at Kings College London, where he qualified with distinction and was awarded the Pitt-Ford prize. During this time, he was a clinical teacher and lecturer with the dental undergraduates.

Furthermore, Justin holds specialty Membership in Endodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (M Endo RCS) which is recognised as the highest qualification in the field.

In 2020, Justin was a finalist for the Dental Awards in the category Best Young Dentist.

Justin is passionate about his work and enjoys the technical precision involved endodontics and endodontic surgery and endeavours to provide pain-free, comfortable treatment in a relaxed manner. Justin accepts referrals for all endodontic procedures, including cases with complex anatomy and those which have been previously treated and failed.

Justin is a member of the British Endodontic Society.

Dr. Haroon Khan

BDS Lond, MJDF RCS (Eng), MSc (Orthodontics)  GDC: 154666
Associate Dentist With a Special Interest in Orthodontics

Dr Haroon Khan graduated from Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’ school of Dentistry. He has worked in numerous positions in both general practice and hospital placements to further enhance his skills. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has particular interests in both Orthodontics and Oral Surgery. Alongside his role at Sunningdale he works in a specialist Orthodontic practice in London where he has been for 10 years. Over this period he obtained an MSc in Orthodontics from Warwick University to further his orthodontics skills and knowledge. Completing a year long placement as an Senior House Officer at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow also allowed him to develop his Oral Surgery skills.  

Outside of dentistry he follows several sports with a particular interest in football, which he enjoys playing on a regular basis. In his spare time he also undertakes several D.I.Y projects around the home.

Dr. Bilawal Firdaus

BDS (Hons) University of Birmingham GDC: 290717 Associate Dentist

Bilawal graduated from the University of Birmingham with Honours. Following completion of his foundation training, he went on complete his dental core training year in oral and maxillofacial surgery gaining further experience in the management of surgical cases. 

He is committed to providing the highest quality of care, working with his patients to meet their needs in a timely and comfortable manner. To this end he is undertaking further postgraduate training in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

He is an avid Formula 1 fan and enjoys watching the races in his spare time, alongside exercising and spending time with friends and family

Dr. Sunil Kandola

BDS MFDS RCPS (Glasg) PG Cert (Aesth Rest Dent) GDC: 278660 Associate Dentist

Dr Sunil graduated from Barts and the London dental school in 2018. Receiving an award for his in-depth knowledge in paediatric oral health during his studies.

Since graduating Sunil has worked primarily in Hampshire across various NHS/mixed dental practices. In addition, he gained invaluable surgical experience whilst working as a Senior House Officer in Portsmouth in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. He has recently been awarded a post-graduate certificate for undertaking further training in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry.

Dr Kandola is constantly refining his skills as a general practitioner whilst acquiring new techniques to deliver an optimum quality of care to his patients. Above all else he strives to create a safe space where his patients can feel relaxed and trust that he will care for them.

In his spare time Sunil plays volleyball competitively and is an avid snowboarder. He also enjoys his gym workouts and is a big fan of F1 and anime/Disney.

Dr. Umar Asghar

BDS, 2024 (Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry) GDC: 319182 Associate Dentist

Dr Asghar qualified in Dentistry at the esteemed Royal London, School of Medicine and Dentistry. An avid learner, he regularly attends British Dental Association events across Berkshire and is currently undertaking postgraduate training courses to further his clinical knowledge and skills.

His professional interests include proactive dentistry, pain management, and ensuring patients feel listened to and supported throughout their care. He is particularly passionate about “giving teeth a second chance” and providing long-lasting solutions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Outside of dentistry, Umar enjoys all sports, with a particular passion for football. A lifelong Arsenal supporter, he has represented the British Dentists Football Club – a team made up of the best dental students from across the UK. In addition, he represented Berkshire in cricket throughout his childhood and once had the honour of being presented an award at the world famous Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Neelam Gurung

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Nepal (2021) GDC: 321316 Hygienist

Neelam is a qualified Dental Hygienist who began her dental career in Nepal, where she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Chitwan Medical College and gained two years of valuable clinical experience before moving to the UK in 2022. In 2024, she successfully achieved her NEBDN qualifications and is now a registered Dental Hygienist.

She is recognised for her calm, gentle, and holistic approach to patient care. Neelam takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment where patients feel relaxed and comfortable. She has a particular gift for supporting anxious patients, always striving to deliver a pain-free, positive experience.

Outside of dentistry, Neelam enjoys travelling, reading Nepali novels, listening to music, and exploring different cuisines. An ambivert at heart and a devoted pet lover, she values balance, connection, and brings warmth and care into everything she does.

Becky Joel

Practice Manager The Elms, Sunningdale and Ascot Dental Practice

Becky has always been keen to help people in need and prides herself in being a very happy and positive person. She enjoys working as part of a team and to ensure that all runs as smoothly as possible. Becky’s aim is to go above and beyond for all our patients and to ensure that every patient has a pleasant experience at our practices.

Becky qualified as a dental nurse in 2012 and joined our team in 2015 where she worked as a Head nurse before becoming Practice Manager.

In her spare time, Becky is kept busy by her little boy, Archie who was born in 2024, she also enjoys walks with her family and loves a spa day.

Morgan-Louise Fortin

Assistant Practice Manager The Elms, Sunningdale and Ascot Dental Practice

Morgan-Louise Fortin is a dedicated and enthusiastic team member who is always eager to help others and maintain a positive, can-do attitude. She thrives in a collaborative environment, working tirelessly to ensure smooth operations across all of our practices. Morgan is passionate about providing exceptional care to our patients and strives to ensure everyone has a welcoming and enjoyable experience when visiting.

Morgan began her career with us in 2021 as a Trainee Dental Nurse, quickly demonstrating her commitment and skill. She was promoted to Head Dental Nurse at our Elms Dental Practice, where she excelled in leadership and patient care. In 2023, her hard work and dedication were recognised with a promotion to Assistant Manager, overseeing all three of our practices.

Outside of work, Morgan-Louise enjoys reading, listening to music, and socialising with friends. She has a love for organisation and takes great pleasure in creating structure, whether it’s through her beloved Excel spreadsheets or her well curated pencil case.
